Hue ⇔ Hoi An By Moped Itinerary

Hue – City of Ghosts – Tam Giang Lagoon – The Coast – Lang Co oyster lagoon – Hai Van Pass – Marble Mountain

Our team pick you up from Hue Hotel to travel to Hoi an. This is a scenic route mainly we will travelling close to the coast, past some lagoons and stop at interesting sights along the way:
City of ghosts is located near An Bang village on the coast. This is a local cemetery with brilliant color decorated tomb and sophisticated mosaic painting of dragon, phoenix, unicorn and dragon built on sandy beach about 3 km long. Some of them even follow the model of royal tombs structure in Hue and their family pouring 20 to 50 thousand dollars into it while living in simple houses. Coming here we have chance to learn more about spiritual life of the locals with the custom of worshipping their ancestor.
Tam Giang lagoon is the largest brackish water lagoon in Southeast Asia. It is the meeting point of 3 rivers and also a fish basket of this area with traditional fishing villages. Pictures of this vast scene is like a charming landscape painting with rustic landscapes and peaceful atmosphere.
Hai Van Pass- located at 500m above sea level Hai van is the highest mountain pass between North and South of Vietnam with the length of 21 km. In the old days it was a border check point between Dai Viet and Champa and at the war time it is fierce fighting areas where some wars bunker can still be found today. With spectacular scenery Hai Van Pass is one of the most scenic hillside roads in Vietnam.
Marble Mountain – Marble Mountain is a group of five marble and limestone hills located in the south of Da Nang. They are named after 5 basic elements Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth. On the Water Mountain there are some caves and inside caves there are pagodas, in the biggest cave during the war Viet Cong used it a mini hospital to treat wounded soldiers which is only 3km from the closest US air facility.
