You’ll be greeted by our female drivers and tour guide at your hotel lobby, all dressed in the elegant traditional Ao Dai of Motorbike City Tours. After a warm welcome, you’ll receive a safety briefing and a detailed overview of the journey ahead. We ride on a fleet of brand-new Honda Lead scooters, each equipped with comfortable passenger backrests—so you feel relaxed and secure, like you’re in a lounge chair, not clinging on tightly as with typical bikes. From here, your adventure around Hanoi begins.

Stage One of the tour takes you deep into the hidden heart of Hanoi, weaving through a maze of backstreets and lively alleys. You’ll ride past French colonial buildings, bustling local markets, and some of the city’s iconic landmarks. Highlights include the grand Hanoi Opera House and the haunting site of a downed B-52 bomber resting in a peaceful lake. This stage offers a fascinating contrast between old and new Hanoi, and as we exit the city center, you’ll cross the legendary Long Bien Bridge—built over a century ago and standing as a powerful symbol of resilience.

Stage Two shifts gears as we escape the urban rush and cruise into the calm countryside. You’ll be surrounded by lush gardens and endless green farmland as we make our way to Banana Island. Under the shade of guava and banana trees, we follow dirt paths into the agricultural core of Hanoi. It’s a peaceful, slower-paced part of the tour that gives you a window into rural life just minutes from the city’s chaos.

Stage Three brings a refreshing ride along the breezy shores of West Lake, Hanoi’s largest body of water. From there, we wind through quaint alleys leading to Huu Tiep Lake and the famous Reunification Train Street. Here, you’ll visit a welcoming local family and chat with a war veteran, who’ll share firsthand stories of Vietnam’s past and present. The tour ends with a stop at a beloved local eatery for an authentic Vietnamese lunch, followed by a relaxing break at a charming café, home to the city’s iconic egg coffee—a delicious blend of tradition, culture, and taste.
