Hanoi Food Tours: Hanoi Food Tours By Car Itinerary:

  • Part 1: Welcome & First Flavors
Get ready for a sensational culinary journey through the streets of Hanoi! At either 1:00 PM or 6:00 PM, our friendly drivers and tour guide will greet you in the lobby of your hotel for a safety briefing and an overview of your tour itinerary. Our adventure begins with a visit to a local gem renowned for its Banh Cuon (steamed rolled cake). Watch as a skilled local chef demonstrates the delicate art of crafting this dish, offering you an up-close look at traditional Vietnamese cooking techniques.

Part 2: Bun Cha & Lakeside Delights
Our next destination is a beloved family-run restaurant, where you’ll enjoy Bun Cha—grilled pork served with vermicelli noodles and fresh herbs. Afterward, we’ll cruise to West Lake to admire the scenic views as day turns into night. The journey continues to Ngu Xa village, a culinary haven famous for freshly grilled seafood, creative variations of Pho, banana flower salad, and other signature Vietnamese street foods.

Part 3: Cultural Highlights & Train Street
In the third stage of our tour, we pass the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where you can witness ceremonial guards performing their traditional evening rituals—an awe-inspiring display of national pride and respect. We then venture to the vibrant Reunification Train Street, a unique alleyway where residents live, cook, and socialize just inches from the railway tracks. It’s one of Hanoi’s most iconic and energetic locales.

Part 4: Sweet Farewell with Local Delights
As our food tour draws to a close, we’ll visit a cozy café famous for Vietnamese egg coffee—a rich, creamy concoction made with whipped egg yolk, condensed milk, and espresso, topped with cocoa. First invented in 1946, this local specialty offers a unique flavor and texture reminiscent of tiramisu. If you prefer, you can opt for a refreshing Mango and Caramel Pudding, a local dessert favorite to end your experience on a sweet note.
