🟢 Stage 1: Village Life & Hidden Hanoi
We ride out of Hanoi, crossing the historic Long Bien Bridge, a 100-year-old symbol of the city’s resilience, then follow the peaceful banks of the Red River. As the urban noise fades away, we reach an 800-year-old traditional village, where you’ll discover a village gate, pagoda, temple, and communal house—beautiful remnants of Vietnam’s rural heritage. You’ll also have the chance to visit a local family, share tea and peanut candy, and learn about their daily lives with your guide acting as a translator.
🟢 Stage 2: Ancient History & Countryside Roads
We continue riding through expansive rice paddies, enjoying the tranquil countryside before turning onto dirt paths that lead to the Co Loa Ancient Citadel Temple. Here, you’ll uncover fascinating stories from Vietnam’s early history, including how it defended against invaders as far back as 300 B.C.E.
🟢 Stage 3: Handicrafts & Farm Life
Next, we pedal through zig-zagging village alleys into the heart of Hanoi’s farmland, where agriculture continues to thrive. Our stop is at Hoi Phu Village, famed for its traditional craft of broom-making. You’ll watch local artisans skillfully create broomsticks from broom grass—a simple yet beautiful craft that supports local families in the Red River Delta.
🟢 Final Stage: Culinary Delight & Café Culture
We wrap up the tour with a meal at an authentic Vietnamese restaurant, where you’ll enjoy a variety of traditional dishes and local specialties.
