Day 1 – Arrival in Bangkok
Welcome to Thailand. Upon arrival in Bangkok, your private female tour leader will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your 5-star hotel. After check-in and time to relax, enjoy a gentle orientation around the Chao Phraya River, exploring traditional neighborhoods, small shrines and local streets. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring authentic Thai cuisine.
Day 2 – Bangkok Canals & Wat Pho
After breakfast, explore Bangkok’s historic khlongs by private longtail boat. Cruise past traditional wooden homes, riverside temples and local communities to discover a quieter side of the capital. Continue to Wat Pho, home to the famous reclining Buddha, where your female guide introduces Thai Buddhist traditions and temple etiquette. Enjoy lunch at a carefully selected local restaurant, followed by free time for a wellness experience, Chinatown exploration or relaxation. End the day with a private dinner featuring regional Thai specialties.
Day 3 – Bangkok to Chiang Mai
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Meet your private female guide and explore Chiang Mai’s Old City, historic temples, quiet lanes and traditional communities. In the afternoon, visit Doi Suthep, one of northern Thailand’s most revered temple complexes, and enjoy panoramic views across Chiang Mai. Return to the city for dinner featuring northern Thai cuisine.
Day 4 – Chiang Mai: Ethical Elephant Conservation
Today focuses on responsible tourism and conservation. Travel into the countryside to an ethical elephant sanctuary, where you learn about elephant behavior, conservation and responsible tourism. Instead of riding or handling elephants, observe them respectfully and learn from conservation specialists. Enjoy lunch in a peaceful countryside setting before returning to Chiang Mai. Later, meet local women involved in traditional Thai craftsmanship, textiles, handicrafts or a family-run creative business.
Day 5 – Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai & Chiang Khong
Leave Chiang Mai and travel through northern Thailand’s countryside toward Chiang Rai. Visit Wat Rong Khun – White Temple, an extraordinary contemporary Buddhist temple known for its brilliant white architecture and intricate details. Continue to Chiang Khong, a peaceful riverside town overlooking the Mekong and Laos. Enjoy a gentle walk through local markets, temples and riverside communities before dinner overlooking the Mekong.
Day 6 – Chiang Khong to Laos & Mekong River to Pak Beng
After breakfast, cross the border into Laos with your travel team. Meet your local Lao team and board a comfortable Mekong River boat. Slow down and enjoy the changing landscape of forested hills, riverside villages, fishermen, farmers and communities living along the Mekong. Lunch is served on board before arriving in Pak Beng, where you take a short guided walk and check into your premium riverside lodge. Enjoy dinner overlooking the Mekong.
Day 7 – Pak Beng, Pak Ou Caves & Luang Prabang
Continue your Mekong journey toward Luang Prabang. Along the way, stop at the famous Pak Ou Caves, a sacred site overlooking the meeting point of the Mekong and Nam Ou rivers. Explore the caves and learn about their importance in Lao Buddhist culture before continuing downstream. Arrive in UNESCO-listed Luang Prabang, check into your heritage hotel and enjoy an evening walking tour through the historic center and famous night market.
Day 8 – Luang Prabang & Kuang Si Waterfalls
Travel into the countryside to Kuang Si Waterfalls and walk through the surrounding forest to admire the spectacular turquoise pools and cascading waterfalls. Continue to a local women-led weaving and social enterprise, where you meet women artisans and learn how traditional textile skills are preserved while creating sustainable income for local families. Enjoy traditional Lao cuisine for lunch before returning to Luang Prabang. The evening is free for shopping, photography or relaxing beside the Mekong.
Day 9 – Luang Prabang: Alms Giving, Temples & Slow Travel
Rise early for a respectful introduction to Luang Prabang’s traditional morning alms-giving ceremony. Your female guide explains appropriate etiquette and Buddhist traditions before returning to the hotel for breakfast. Later, explore historic temples, traditional homes, colonial-era streets and local artisan shops. Enjoy lunch at a riverside restaurant, followed by a relaxed afternoon for a spa treatment, independent exploration or time beside the Mekong.
Day 10 – Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng
After breakfast, transfer to the railway station for the high-speed train to Vang Vieng, traveling through the mountainous landscapes of Laos. Upon arrival, transfer to your 5-star riverside resort surrounded by dramatic limestone karsts, green valleys and the Nam Song River. Enjoy a gentle countryside experience, scenic drive or easy walk through rural villages before dinner at your resort or a carefully selected local restaurant.
Day 11 – Vang Vieng: Nature, Villages & Nam Song River
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast overlooking the mountains. Today is designed around nature and personal choice. Choose from countryside exploration, a local village visit, an organic farm experience, a scenic Nam Song River cruise, photography walk, traditional Lao cooking experience or simply relaxing at the resort. Your private female tour leader adapts the day to your interests and energy level. Enjoy lunch in the countryside before returning to the resort and ending the day with a farewell-style dinner.
Day 12 – Vang Vieng to Vientiane
After breakfast, travel by private vehicle to Vientiane, Laos’ relaxed capital. Explore the historic center and visit Wat Si Saket, one of the city’s important historic temples. Continue to other cultural landmarks before visiting the COPE Visitor Centre, learning about Laos’ modern history, unexploded ordnance legacy and community resilience. After lunch, explore the Mekong riverside and enjoy your final shopping or photography opportunities before a premium Lao dinner.
Day 13 – Vientiane Departure
Enjoy your final breakfast in Vientiane. Depending on your flight schedule, your female tour leader can arrange a final cultural experience, shopping visit or coffee stop. Your private airport transfer is included.
