Itinerary in details: 3 Days 2 Nights Ha Giang Motorbike Tour
DAY 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Du Gia, a 120-kilometer trip
Following breakfast, we proceed on the ‘Road of Happiness,’ traveling north out of Ha Giang City. We climb up the Quan Ba mountain pass, enter the Dong Van Geopark, pass through the Fairy Hills, and finally arrive at the Heaven’s Gate. We have lunch in or near Tam Son, a little village. Then we head deep into the Ha Giang highlands to the lovely town of Du Gia. We will be staying overnight with a family of an ethnic minority. Have dinner and breakfast together with local family. (The day includes breakfast, lunch, and supper.)
DAY 2: Du Gia – Meo Vac – Dong Van – Lung Cu – (Ma Pi Leng) Dong Van is around 110 to 150 kilometers drive.
We bid our goodbyes to the homestay family and travel north, going through some of the most gorgeous mountain passes you’ve ever seen, stopping for lunch in Meo Vac and gradually ascending the majestic Ma Pi Leng mountain pass before arriving at Dong Van, Vietnam’s most northern town. If anybody is feeling adventurous, we may hike to the ruins of the French fort for a spectacular perspective over the town and its surroundings. After a hard day on the bike, we enjoy wandering Dong Van’s Old Quarter. Stay in a hotel or homestay.
DAY 3: Drive approximately 150 kilometers from Dong Van to Sa Phin, Yen Minh, Tam Son, and Ha Giang City.
After breakfast, we begin our adventure south. We quickly arrive at Sa Phin, where we find the one-hundred-year-old palace of H’mong King Vuong Chinh Duc. We descend the Stone Highland to Yen Minh for lunch before ascending a mountain pass to Tam Son, across the Quan Ba mountain pass, and back to Ha Giang. (Includes breakfast and lunch)
Our objective is to make your tour unforgettable. As a result, our excursions are not the cheapest in Ha Giang, but you get what you pay for, as the saying goes.
